Well, then perhaps you might want to actually have a conversation with a transvestite and a transsexual. Transvestites dress like the opposite sex. They don’t need bottom surgery, or as you call it - “a synthetic … kind of pink peapod, Frankenstein, grafted-off-your-leg dick.” A transexual (or trans guy) might have bottom surgery. And I’m sure that lovely image will bring comfort and succor to trans guys and their loved ones everywhere.
I used to be a fan. I knew that one of Maron’s biggest fears is of being fat but if I let that stop me from enjoying somebody art, I’d have to write off most of the entertainment industry. However, after hearing episode 263 posted on 3/18/2012 with Mary Mack, I was stunned at his ignorance and unchecked discrimination. I found myself not being able to listen to him anymore.
This is what he said:
“I slept with the largest woman i ever slept with in my life. I’m not proud of that. i’m not saying this to insult her. I’m not going to say mention names because, frankly, I don’t remember her name. But it was a challenge. It was not a sexual thing, it was more of an astronut thing. We can put men on the moon. I can do this. That’s how I entered this. I hate me. I’m aggravated This trip is not working out well. I’m going to have sex with this person.”
So, I emailed him, writing that, although he has the right to be attracted to any type of body, equating “fat” with “ugly” is insulting and hurtful. I asked him to apologize on his podcast. He did not write back. I listened to the beginning of his podcast where he speaks about his life for a number of subsequent episodes and also heard nothing.
Please help me educate him and his followers about his anti-fat hate and discrimination by tweeting him @MarcMaron, @WTFpod using the hash tag #EducateFatHate.

This is something that happened to a friend of mine in her own words.
“So, on Friday night my friend and I were at her house and wanted to get out and do something for the evening. We brainstormed ideas and she brought up the idea of seeing a show at the Laugh Factory. I’d never been, I thought…
